Get Cured Now
Good nutrition is key to better health. Our job at MFAP is to help people live healthier. That is why we started a quarterly Nutrition newsletter where we can share more positive nutritional information.
Lets stay connected
Do you know that Hep C is completely curable with oral medication? Presently 4 million Americans are infected with the Hep C Virus. Some are unaware they have the disease and need to get tested. While others know they have the disease but they do not know of treatment options and a possible cure.
Free and Confidential HIV Testing is once again available, by appointment, or walk-in, at our offices at 618 West Avenue.
The test is quick, painless, free and most-importantly, confidential. Our dedicated case managers are available every weekday to answer any questions concerning HIV/AIDS or Hep C.
For those persons who are living with HIV/AIDS, and need help, we offer nutritional counseling, support services, housing opportunities, emergency funding, case management and more.
If you are seeking emergency shelter or crisis intervention, please dial 2-1-1 or visit uwc.211ct.org.
2-1-1 is the centralized housing referral system for Connecticut. All persons wishing to stay in shelters or obtain subsidized housing must use this system.
211 schedules your appointment with the nearest shelter and places you on their waiting list.
All people with HIV/AIDS have an opportunity to become a client of MFAP through our case management and referral service. You can access all MFAP benefits & services through your case manager.
