I'm Max Cisneros, the Volunteer Coordinator at Mid Fairfield AIDS Project.

Today I want to share some numbers & my testimony with you:
In the worldwide community,
since the start of the HIV/AIDS epidemic:

. 70 million people have been infected with HIV/AIDS,
. More than 35 million people have died from HIV/AIDS.
. In 2015, 39.8 million continue to live with HIV/AIDS.
. Today, 18 million have access to life-saving AIDS treatment - 1.2 million more than last year.

In the MFAP community:
. 26 years ago Mid Fairfield AIDS Project had nine clients, a $60,000 budget and one employee.
. Today we serve more than 300 people.
. Today we house 40 individuals & their families.
. Today we have eight employees and operate a 10 bedroom transitional housing facility.

In my life:
I have been infected with HIV for four years. I was devastated when I found out. I felt an overwhelming sense of guilt which led me to thoughts of suicide and massive self-destructive drug abuse. My self-esteem was at an all-time low.
Three years later with the help of a solid support network I met the people at Mid Fairfield AIDS Project. They provided me with health-care, taught me how to manage my illness and how not be overcome with self-pity and shame.
MFAP showed me a way to thrive with HIV. Today I am fortunate to work at a place where I can help make a real difference in people’s lives. Many people, like me, come to MFAP with similar stories of struggle and pain.
Today I want us to acknowledge the triumphs and sacrifices in that common fight. I also want us to recognize that there is still much work to be done. The fight against AIDS has many fronts. Mid Fairfield AIDS Project is a community leader in that fight and we need your help.
Donate. Volunteer. Get Tested.
Make a difference with MFAP, so that other individuals in our community

can share uplifting and positive stories like mine. 😉
Thank you,
Max Cisneros,
Mid Fairfield AIDS Project

Please make solar panel donations individually.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Locally, MFAP helps those who are infected by HIV/AIDS. And, after years of seeing a growing need to house the homeless, MFAP took action by opening Moore Place, our supportive housing facility. Our agency also decided to install an array of 81 solar panels on the roof of Moore Place.

Our organization did not wait for others to create change. We took action, and created change. We ask you to help us provide more positive change in our community. By contributing to our agency and purchasing a solar panel at Moore Place, you are helping those in need. With your generosity, we can  continue to help those who need it most. Yes, climate change is a world wide problem, here we present a local solution where you can help.

Thank you so much!

Thanks so much

MFAP is able to provide much-needed services to our clients because of the generosity of individuals who find a way to support us with gracious donations. No contribution is too small.

Our agency is lucky to also have the support of companies and businesses committed to our mission of providing health, housing, and hope.
