Welcome. I am Stuart Lane, the executive director of MFAP, or the Mid Fairfield AIDS Project.
MFAP is a non-profit organization providing services to people living with HIV/AIDS & and other disabilities.
Since 1987, MFAP has been the leading AIDS service organization in the area, serving residents from Bridgeport to Stamford. We test people for HIV/AIDS. We provide case management services to our clients, we have a registered dietitian on staff to help them with their health-needs, we have a food pantry, we offer counseling services, housing opportunities, bus tokens, dental services and support groups.
But we do more than serve persons with HIV/AIDS, we Test, Educate, Cure persons with Hepatitis C, and earlier this year we opened up Moore Place, MFAP's supportive housing facility for persons who are homeless and disabled. It is a congregate living program housing 10 residents each in their own furnished room.
These are exciting times for MFAP. We launched our new website - - mfap.org, changed our logo, partnered with Circle Care Center on a new Hepatitis C Marketing Campaign and Nutrition Program.
Volunteers are the backbone here at MFAP. We could not do what we do here on a daily basis without the help and support of individuals, businesses, civic and community leaders, elected officials, members of the clergy and fellow non-profit organizations. To each and every one of you who supports us, thank you.
